Inside a modern, fully equipped 3,250 m² industrial hall, we meet the needs of the most demanding operators — with rare, highly sought-after skills that have underpinned our success for many years.

We anticipate the challenges of changing requirements in standards, legislation and new technologies.

Since March 2021 we have been ECM certified, functions 1-4, and are therefore qualified and authorised to maintain bogies and their components for all kinds of vehicles.

We are the only provider accredited by SNCF for the overhaul of metre-gauge bogies, including their components — notably wheelset axles to standard EN 13261.

We are certified to level CL1 under EN 15085, the railway welding standard, supervised by our international welding engineer employed by TMR SA.

We invest in training polymechanics to secure our expertise for the long term, through a targeted programme spread over four years of apprenticeship.

Inauguration of the railway bogie overhaul competence centre on 18.01.2018
Faced with strong growth in demand and in the rack bogie overhaul work entrusted to it, TMR SA chose to open up to the future by creating a competence centre in Martigny: Octofer. An 18 million franc investment for a 3,250 m² hall, properly equipped and entirely dedicated to railway bogie overhaul.

The hall was designed and fitted out by our own staff under the guidance of the engineers from our Infra Projets office. Experience gained overhauling bogies of every kind and configuration led to a facility with a continuous, modular technological flow. It is built around a logical sequence of stations, each dedicated to one stage of the process.
