Entry into service in 2026
TMR has been selected to maintain RegionAlps' future FLIRT Evo trainsets, built by Stadler. To carry out this assignment, the Catogne hall — located behind the Octofer bogie overhaul centre — will be converted.
Connected directly to Martigny SBB station, this new maintenance centre sits on the Simplon line. It therefore enjoys a strategic and easily accessible location.
With this project, TMR reaffirms its commitment to strengthening its activities and its leading role in rail expertise: bogie overhaul, maintenance and engineering.
Our objective
Our objective is to welcome the first FLIRT Evo trainsets in summer 2025; construction started this summer. The first years of operation will allow us to build up a structure that should, by 2030, employ around 25 full-time staff maintaining several dozen vehicles each year.
The maintenance contract for RegionAlps' FLIRT Evo trainsets represents roughly 50 % of the hall's capacity. Thanks to the bogie workshop housed in the same building, valuable synergies can be offered to our customers.

Outlook
Planned works
The following works are planned in order to host the maintenance of RegionAlps' FLIRT Evo trainsets:

Creation of 3 pit tracks 100 m long (tracks 93 to 95).

Construction of a new steel structure to carry the access walkways and overhead cranes, notably over 2 tracks.

Construction of a large pit in track 93 to house an underfloor wheel lathe and its setting track.

Rehabilitation of a 100-metre outdoor track extending the wheel lathe, allowing multiple units up to 205 metres long to be reprofiled.

Construction of a very large "crossing" to house a lifting table for exchanging bogies or major components, optimising maintenance operations.

2 levelled tracks will allow various adjustments to be carried out in line with the applicable standards.
