Hike to the Bavon ridge
From Praz-de-Fort, the trail climbs through forest and alpine pastures to reach the Bavon ridge, the natural border between Val Ferret and Val d’Entremont. From there, a splendid panorama opens up over the two valleys and the surrounding peaks.
The descent is then on the Val d’Entremont side to the Branche d’en-Bas bus stop, where you can take the bus back. A wild, varied and uncrowded route, perfect for lovers of unspoiled nature!
To get there, take the bus from Orsières to Praz-de-Fort for the departure, then take it again on the way back from the Branche d’en-Bas stop.
